So many options for the group! I had a blast at the self-service laundry while the kids played on the trampoline. And let's not forget the thrilling adventure of spotting a fire extinguisher and a smoke detector!
I just love a good first aid kit, don't you? Sadly, this motel didn't quite meet my expectations in that department.

The hotel's warm and inviting decor created a cozy atmosphere that immediately made me feel welcome. The common areas were well-maintained and provided a peaceful retreat for relaxation. Additionally, the hotel's convenient layout and accessible amenities made it suitable for senior guests like myself.
I would have preferred if the children working there had been more knowledgeable about local attractions and activities suitable for senior visitors.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, as it is very close to The Square, which is the city center of Palmerston North. You'll find everything you need within walking distance, from shops to restaurants. The staff at this hotel are friendly and attentive, ensuring that your stay is enjoyable. The rooms are well-equipped with basic amenities and offer good views. If you're traveling with children, you'll appreciate that they have rooms with single beds for the kids. Additionally, if you need some extra space, they have 2-bedroom options available. Another great aspect is the breakfast, which provides a good start to the day.
All was great, no improvements needed.

Reasonably close to city centre..Separate bathroom and kitchen from accomodation area.Parking at door on ground level.
Outside front road appeal was in need of an up grade, Signage, ground maintenance & generally all the property outside requires a makeover,Quiet disappointing as have stayed there 5-6 years ago when called Tokyo Motel and owner then was attending to the grounds etc.and it looked promising. Interior was passible but again getting to the stage of needing a tidy up. Room service was o'k Marks out of 1-10--- 1 being the lowest I would struggle to give it a 5 Price was what made it attractive . Also Saturday night a party till 4.00am was not wecomed. And next to our unit.Complained to manager ,and was told this is what one may have to expect sometimes, and they never noticed anything.Another couple also mentioned to us re the noise and the coming and goings on.

The rooms are spacious and have a nice patio, and the comfortable bed and beautiful garden were highlights of our stay. The Butterfly Pond is also conveniently close to the hotel.

I was pretty tired, focused on work, just wanted internet (free and fast), a good breakfast on time (they went the extra mile to bring sign out stuff to room to save time). Room was completely dust free (and I can tell), great selection of channels (News, Sport and movies on sky). Near 10 good eateries. Nice staff. I'll be back if I need a stayopver in Palmy.
